Description

• Compact: measuring 50 cm, the GLACIER LITERIDE ice ax is compact and lightweight and therefore easily transportable in a backpack.
• Lightness and comfort:
  - the upper part of the blade guarantees an excellent grip (comfortable support surface),
  - the blade and tube are lightened while maintaining excellent robustness.
  Excellent anchoring quality on hard snow and ice thanks to:
  - to the profile of the blade which guarantees safe and stable anchoring,
  - to the steel blade serrated thin at the end (3 mm),
  - to the stainless steel tip for excellent penetration in hard snow.
• High resistance and practical aspects:
  - high quality steel blade (identical to the blades of ice-climbing axes),
  - very resistant steel blade with edge design to allow effective grading,
  - head and tip equipped with holes for the passage of a carabiner or a webbing,
  - high quality aluminum handle (7075 aluminum used in aeronautics), with anodized finish for excellent protection against oxidation,
  - grip obtained in the handle to guarantee a better grip when used as an ice-climbing axe.
