Loyal companions for future ascents: Our new TOUR LIGHT GLOVES for women have been specially developed for long ascents and demanding ski tours. The comfortably soft merino fibers on the inside are directly woven into the NATURETEC LIGHT shell that is wind and water resistant, and provides optimum protection.

These lightweight softshell gloves are extremely breathable and quick drying. Soft, elastic MERINO FLEECE LIGHT at the wrist acts as warm pulse protection and effectively keeps the wind and cold at bay, while the finest merino wool fibers inside provide a comfortable climate. The practical pull-on aid is particularly advantageous in freezing temperatures, when cold fingers want to get straight back into the warm.

Inserts made from goatskin leather with punchhole reinforcement on the palm always ensure a good grip and provide the necessary robustness for intensive use. Carefully considered notches allow for maximum freedom of movement. Thanks to the smart finger, a fine goatskin leather insert on the index finger, operating the display on a smartphone or GPS is easy even in gloves.

Merino wool

Since 1995, merino wool has been an integral component of ORTOVOX’s mountainwear. Our merino wool comes from happy sheep reared on monitored, ethical sheep farms. The wool is naturally 100% ecological and therefore super sustainable. Thanks to the small-diameter fibers in its fine woolen threads, merino wool feels extremely soft and comfortable on the skin.  In addition to comfort, merino wool also provides an ideal personal body climate by regulating both moisture and temperature. It is also easy to care for and, thanks to its antibacterial effect, odor neutralizing.

Merino Naturetec Light Material
The merino wool is directly woven together with the material from schoeller® to create the ORTOVOX NATURETEC LIGHT fabric. This combination of merino wool and durable polyamide is extremely robust and elastic – making it ideal for high-action sports. Merino wool on the skin ensures good wear comfort and an ideal personal microclimate, while the polyamide provides protection against wind and light precipitation.
