RIBELLE RUN KALIBRA G is the Trail Running shoe on mixed terrain in extreme conditions, when cold, snow and mud require greater protection and high reliability. To be used for training and races over medium distances, even in summer on softer and more technical mountain terrain. The main innovation of this shoe is the lacing system, developed with BOA®, which allows complete wrapping of the foot.
GAITER
KALIBRA GAITER
Made to maximize protection from wind, rain and low temperatures, it is made up of a polyurethane membrane, Polartec® Windbloc®, closed by a water-repellent zip and a Velcro strap. The particular shape of this integrated gaiter is aimed at increasing the durability of the shoe by protecting the body of the foot from abrasion. There are also details in 3M film which ensure visibility even in the dark.
UPPER
The innermost part of the upper, on which the lacing system rests, is made of a light and breathable mesh, reinforced by a microfibre structure and a TPU film. The clean design of the shoe is characterized by the iconic TPU band of the Ribelle family, which wraps and protects the entire shoe.
LACING
The foot is completely wrapped without any pressure points, thanks to Wrap360 developed in collaboration with BOA®. The heart of this system is the BOA® Fit System with the Li2 dial that offers a precise and micro-adjustable fit in both directions, improving stability and control on technical terrain.
SOLE
PRESA® TRN-04 is a sole dedicated to highly technical routes, where precision and grip are essential characteristics. The design of the sole includes pointed 5mm lugs that ensure traction on ice and mud, and their positioning has been designed to generate a series of self-cleaning channels. The tread compound is SUPERGUM W, highly performing in winter conditions which ensures grip on icy terrain and snow.
