Extraordinary process that unites the core and sheath of the rope without modifying its softness characteristics. Sock sliding is eliminated even in the worst conditions of use. If the sock is cut or torn, the core and the sock remain integral.
On a classic rope, if the sheath is cut due to abrasion on the edge, a frequent phenomenon in work at heights or in rescue operations, the rope slides and bunches up for several metres. It therefore becomes impossible to use this area both uphill and downhill. If the problem affects the meters near the end of the rope, the sock can slide completely, causing the user to fall to the ground.
With the UNICORE Process, the sock remains in position and the user can ascend or descend taking the necessary precautions. He therefore does not remain stuck on his own rope without a solution.

DRY COVER
Each strand of the "Dry Cover" string sock is treated with a hydrophobic chemical compound before making the string. This chemical compound is polymerized at high temperature. The duration of this treatment is due to the polymerization but also to the individual treatment of each sock thread before manufacturing the rope. On a Dry Cover string, the core is not treated.
