From beginner to expert, those who want to climb in European sport climbing paradise on rock, in every season, you will find in this guide 130 crags for thousands of meters of climbing on splendid limestone. The verticality of these areas has been put under a magnifying glass with the desire to offer the most up-to-date work possible.
There are many new walls, including the exceptional ones: Terre Alte, No Man's Land, Le Trencee, Mappamondo, Lundo...
The approaches they were all retraced one by one, with GPS track from the car park to the crag. All designs have been revisited. Each crag is published with the price availability of openers, with which we have always compared ourselves. Nothing of what you will find in these pages is offered "under the table". And with this logic, you will not find walls that the nailers do not intend to make "public".

Mario Manica: from Rovereto, it is along the rope of his father Bruno, a mountaineer, that Mario as a child experiences his first verticality. It will then be the world of the Dolomites, teamed up with Marcello Luciani, to give him his baptism on the rock. As well as the Sarca Valley when, in 1979, with Giuliano Stenghel he opened the first two routes in Nago. In 1985 his first expedition: Patagonia. Since then, several routes have been opened overseas: Alaska, Baffin, Greenland, NWT Territories, Borneo, Iran, Oman, Mali. His winter repetitions at the North and South Towers of Paine, world firsts for the entire group. In the Great North, from 1988 to 2000, he will be among the few climbers to make such a high number of first ascents on big walls. Not least the south to Mount Dickey (Alaska), the southern edge of Mount Asgard (Baffin), the right edge of Mount Nalumasortoq (Greenland). Sonia's father, Antonella's husband, the pages of this guide are the result of his total passion for exploration.
Antonella Cicogna: the crags of Nago and Massone gave her birth to her when sport climbing was in its infancy and she was little more than a girl. Since then, rock and ink have been inextricably linked in his life. Professional journalist and translator, she takes care of non-European mountaineering news for 360°, the monthly magazine of the Italian Alpine Club. She was press office manager of the Mountain Filmfestival. Milanese, she moved to Rovereto after meeting Mario. Together they climbed, walked and cycled, guided by the curious soul that has always moved them. Among the most loved places are Colombia and Iran. Sonia's mother, Mario's wife, their three backpacks are always ready. Antonella wrote what is present in these pages with two, four and six hands.
Roni Andres: born in the extreme south of Brazil, in Italy since 2008 to climb and work, Roni's home is in the splendid Cavedine Valley, a stone's throw from Arco. Roni has joined the new bolters in these places. Among his beautiful lines, pitches of Volta de' No', Cantina del Bibo and Pizarra stand out, with FAs up to 8c to his credit. Outside of hours Vertical Sport, where he works, pursues a second passion: photography. In 2019 he graduated in Iridology/Naturopathy from the Academy
